Sr. Accountant

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the organization and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This is a key role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

Prepares monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements.

Responsible for monthly closings of all companies.

Responsible for supervising AP and AR functions.

Knowledge of cost accounting is a plus.

Responsible for all required filings for accounting.

Prepares and quarterly and CAT returns.

Prepares the budget and forecast for all companies.

Oversees cash management to include all incoming and outgoing wires, deposits and check payments.

Prepares reports and assists in the year-end audit by the outside CPA firm.

Reports in a timely manner to the CFO on irregularities that have a negative financial impact on the company.

Prepares reports and information for the year end Singapore audit and tax returns.

Assists with financial analysis projects for the CFO.

Periodically perform audits and functions to ensure all procedures are followed.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

Bachelors in Accounting is required or equivalent experience.

Prior work experience in Accounting.

Manufacturing Experience

CPA certificate is preferred.

CPA firm experience is a plus.

Prior work experience in Accounting.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must have good communication skills and be able to write professionally.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must have strong mathematical skills. Must be able to analyze and calculate ratios and be prepared to handle basic algebra.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
