    As a Staff Accountant Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients with their accounting needs. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing expertise in general ledger accounting, reconciliation, and month-end close amongst other duties the client may request.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct financial analysis and reporting tasks such as balance sheet reconciliations, income statement analysis, and cash flow forecasting.

    • Handle operational accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

    • Assist clients in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and streamline accounting procedures for clients.

    • Conduct audits and reviews of financial records to assess internal controls and mitigate risks.

    • Provide guidance and support to clients on complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, inventory valuation, and lease accounting.

    • Assist with the implementation of accounting software systems and ERP solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality.

    • Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, and NetSuite.

    Requirements - Possession of a minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role

    • Demonstrated expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations

    • Experience in managing General Ledger

    • Knowledge of Journal Entries and Month End Close processes

    • Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting software

    • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

    • Professional certification such as CPA is a plus but not required.
