    The Lead Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Planner will lead planning and scheduling analysis and control activities expected to occur during the EPC phase of the Natrium Advanced Reactor Project including:

    • Engineering, procurement and construction schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, impact identification and recovery planning.

    • EPC Phase related reporting and analysis including P6 schedule quality metrics.

    • Support EPC phase planning studies, forecasting's and project optimization. The Lead EPC Planner will report to the Natrium Planning Manager.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead engineering teams through the development and maintenance of both higher level full-project schedules and detailed near term schedules.

    • Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Project Controls and external partners to translate, develop, integrate and sequence engineering activities and inputs into the Integrated Master Control Schedule (IMCS) managed in Primavera P6.

    • Facilitate and coordinate the creation of cross-system and cross-project logic ties in the schedule. Assist in negotiating hand-offs between stakeholders regarding technical / engineering content and schedules, as well as facilitating workaround planning.

    • Lead the development and organization of engineering scope schedule fragnets to be used in planning/estimating and ultimately for inclusion in the IMCS. Provide oversight on implementation/use of fragnets to ensure standard application across the project.

    • Lead Project Management efforts with performing project level integrated reviews of the planned work compile three week look-ahead activities for our client and partners.

    • Reviews scheduled EPC phase work activities to ensure their support of project milestones.

    • Reviews EPC phase schedule resource loading and leveling and all bulk commodity design and purchases.

    • Analyze critical path and constraints to determine the effect of progress changes to schedule and recommend solutions to ensure baseline key milestones are achieved

    • Develop What ? If ? Scenarios & recovery plans due to project activity slippage and change requests

    Key Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and least 13 years of professional experience, or in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 19 years of professional experience.

    • Posses the legal right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.

    • Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check including verification of employment, education, and travel.

    Additional Qualifications

    • Strong knowledge and understanding of CPM scheduling and advanced experience with Primavera P6 software.

    • Experience in preparing, monitoring, and reporting schedule information in engineering, procurement and construction environments.

    • Knowledge in the use of computers for executing work processes.

    • Skilled in oral and written communication.

    • Knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience.

    • Advanced proficiency in using PC operating systems and Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    • Demonstrated advanced capability level with Primavera (P6) and experience in its application on complex engineering and construction projects.

    • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, perform, review, and present planning and scheduling products.

    • Demonstrated ability to prepare and review products independently with minimal supervision using a high level of professional judgment and knowledge related to technical planning and scheduling skills and engineering design and construction practices
