Bank of New York Mellon Corp. names insider as next CEO

Bank of New York Mellon Corp. on Thursday named Robin Vince as its CEO-elect and said CEO Thomas P. (Todd) Gibbons will retire on Aug. 31 after 36 years with the financial services company. Vince joined Bank of New York Mellon in 2020 and currently works as vice chair of BNY Mellon and CEO of global market infrastructure.
