    SUMMARY

    Responsible for receiving, coordinating, disseminating, and working all WASS proposals from inception to completion and hand off to the WASS PMO staff.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist the Proposal Manager and WASS staff in business development, proposal capture, proposal preparation, and task order reception.

    • Initial entry point for approved WASS RFPs received by any means from the client.

    • Analyze tasking from client. Performs detailed analyses of SOQ and RFP requirements.

    • Schedule, host, or attend meetings and take minutes as needed.

    • Organizes and coordinates proposal resources, including project management and technical team input, proposal support, and graphics print teams, reviews all the work, and ensures completion of all assignments and adherence to best practices and quality control objectives.

    • Schedules, facilitates, and documents significant proposal review in accordance with best practices and as directed by Proposal Development leadership.

    • Create responsibility lists for those who are involved in the proposal, and compile summaries for stakeholders.

    • Analyze and recommend pricing cost adjustments. Develop and present original solutions to Program Manager and other executives.

    • Receive project documents, compile project costs, and prepare technical proposals.

    • Performs self check of work products and coordinates independent quality control review.

    • Work as a team member in Developing winning proposals.

    • File project documents and Archiving proposal content by uploading to appropriate internal databases or servers as part of proposal closeout procedures.

    • Must be willing to relocate.

    • Perform routine OCONUS travel and within CONUS travel as required.

    • Position requires a U.S. security clearance.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

    Required

    • B.A.B.S. degree from a four year college or university in a related field and or combination of education and related experience.

    Preferred

    • Certification as Project Management Professional PMP by the Project Management Institute.

    SKILLS and EXPERIENCE

    Required

    • Minimum two 2 years experience in project related activities.

    • Minimum five 5 years experience in related field.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint Project, and Visio.

    Preferred

    • Experience in negotiation and customer support.

    • Ability to maintain strong customer relationships.

    • Prior military US government experience.
