    Job Purpose and Scope

    In this role, you will scope valuation projects, engage external appraisers, and review appraisal reports to ensure our originations and special asset management teams have credible valuation reports and reliable collateral values for decision-making purposes.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Manages a pipeline of non-complex valuation projects across all property types.

    • Communicates with lending personnel to understand financing requests and collateral property characteristics for valuation scoping purposes.

    • Writes validation reports to present developed opinion of the continued validity of prior appraisals and evaluations based on analysis and supporting documentation for loan renewals.

    • Writes appraisal and evaluation reports to present developed opinion of value based on analysis and supporting documentation on properties.

    • Performs reviews on non-complex commercial and residential projects to determine the credibility of the value opinion in the valuation report.

    • Conducts appraiser due diligence and presents findings to voting members of the Vender Review Panel (VPR).

    • Determines appraiser compliance with engagement letter parameters and Loan Policy.

    • Evaluates reports for adherence to regulatory requirements including USPAP and FIRREA.

    • Assembles and analyzes market data on moderate to complex valuation projects.

    • Complies with Bank appraisal policies, procedures, and practices.

    • Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.

    • Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.

    Position Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications

    • Associate's degree in business or related field, or commensurate experience and/or license, required.

    • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, preferred.
