  • Job Summary:

    The Quality Control Manager/Quality Control Lead is responsible for ensuring Quality Standards are met in accordance with AF TO 00-5-01 policy.

    Essential Functions include but are not limited to: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.)

    • Provide Quality Control Technician daily work assignments.

    • Must be familiar with all requirements and standards for library management and inventory control.

    • Must be able to maintain, in hardcopy and/or computer-based digital form, an up-to-date library of all related TO military standards.

    • Perform quality inspection on TO Libraries by utilizing inspection plan and checklists.

    • Document, track, and manage records for all inspected items.

    • Brief inspection results with impacted area and report to leadership.

    • Collaborate with Project Lead and TODO Lead to research and document TO policy changes for TODO/TODA functions.

    • Compile routine reports and submit to Project Lead.

    • Responsible for safe handling of classified information.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills & Ability:

    • Successfully complete the TODO /TODA Courses to maintain certification in TO Distribution and management.

    • Complete and maintain all required training outlined by the organization.

    • Ability to obtain security clearance or have an active security clearance.

    • Working experience with DoD in a Military, civilian, or contract position supporting DoD programs.

    • Individual should have an excellent overview of all governing technical data military specifications as well as a broad knowledge of the TO distribution process to include eTools sync process.

    • Must have knowledge and skills of the TO distribution process similar to that of TODOs and TODAs.

    • Knowledge and understanding of TO policies AFPD 20-1/63-1, AFI 63-101/20-101, TO 00-5-1, TO 00-5-3, and TO 00-5-18.

    • Possession of excellent technical writing, briefing, and facilitation skills.

    • Requires a self-starter with strong administration skills.

    • Demonstrated skill in negotiation, building consensus and achieving compromise.

    • Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

    • Dependable attendance.

    • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person status.

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time, review information on a computer screen and be able to withstand repetitive motion (up to 10 hours a day with lunch and breaks). The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard and standard office equipment and ability to work in excess of a 40-hour week if necessary.

    Office Location and Travel

    This position is located at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.

    No travel required.

    Working Environment & Conditions

    This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
