    ICF's Transformation, Security & Social Services Division (TS3) is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial organization seeking a Technical Trainer to provide in-person and virtual training related to aviation maintenance and regulatory compliance. We are seeking candidates who can explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to transportation professionals located throughout the US and around the world.

    Using your abilities to bridge the gap between technical knowledge and effective teaching, the ideal candidate will deliver interactive instructor-led and virtual training courses that motivate participants to effectively use enterprise software platforms. You will liaison with external clients to gather feedback during training events. If you love training and technology, we want to talk to you.

    Responsibilities

    • Facilitate interactive training on IBM Maximo and/or other software platforms or business processes.

    • Maintain knowledge of the latest updates to relevant systems.

    • Deliver instructor-led training (ILT) or virtual instructor-led training (VILT) courses as scheduled.

    • Coordinate and produce training schedules and classroom agendas.

    • Demonstrate competence in a variety of instructional methods (e.g., lecture, simulations/role-based exercises, hands-on labs).

    • Ensure training delivery is clear, engaging and aligns with organizational goals.

    • Maintain a positive learning environment.

    • Demonstrate deep understanding of the subject matter.

    • Demonstrate ability to respond accurately to learner questions.

    • Demonstrate ability to adjust training content to reflect learner needs.

    • Administer evaluations to determine learner mastery of objectives.

    • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, including attendance and learner performance.

    • Assess program training efficacy based on observations as well as learner and client feedback.

    Basic Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in technical training delivery

    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and/or extensive transportation industry experience

    • 1+ years of experience with virtual training delivery tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)

    • 1+ years of experience with Learning Management Systems (LMSs)

    • 3+ years of demonstrated knowledge and experience applying adult learning principles and modern training techniques to training delivery

    • Must be open to travel within the continental United States to ILT events

    Preferred Qualifications

    • In-depth understanding of, and experience using, IBM Maximo or other enterprise asset management (EAM) software platforms

    • Experience in transportation maintenance, engineering processes and/or workflows

    • Experience working in a consulting environment

    • Strong technical aptitude

    • Superior use of the English language including the ability to read, comprehend, and communicate information and ideas effectively

    Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

    $84,533.00 - $143,706.00
