    Job Summary:

    The individual will primarily edit and format technical documentation. He/she may also edit a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for a wide range of uses. The individual may coordinate the display of graphics and the production of documents. The candidate should have experience in supporting an office environment in the administrative field.

    Responsibilities

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Create and updates a Technical Writer Style guide with changing information from AFLCMC to provide continuity for the section.

    • Research and follow the Mil-STD 38784B and Tongue &Quill standards for writing, editing, and reviewing documentation.

    • Create and update acronym list for DoD documentation.

    • Prepare weekly activity reports (WAR), and monthly status reports (MSR).

    • Edit, format transition team handbooks as requested by Team Leads.

    • Perform Government training as required.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma.

    • Must have a minimum of 5 years of related experience.

    • A BS/BA can substitute for 2 years.

    • Active SECRET clearance.

    • Highly meticulous in adhering to established document formats.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of Air Force networks and organizations.
