Tax Manager/Sr Tax Manager

Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Tax Manager. The ideal Tax Manager will have proficiency in Excel and tax software and technology, as well as expertise in various types of tax returns and financial statements. Your responsibilities in this role

• Review and provide oversight for quarterly and annual payroll tax returns

• Review and supervise the preparation of quarterly tax projections, and communicate required estimated tax payments

• Ensure accurate calculation of W-2s and 1099s and assist in distribution

• Put together and review complex income tax returns

• Ensure financial and tax reporting policies and procedures are compliant

• Support quality control review for all financial statements

• Support compliance and planning for tax matters like waivers and tax returns

• Put together and analyze tax correspondence and facilitation and oversight of tax audits

• Provide accounting managers and staff accountants with tax best business practices Requirements - Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required

• 5-7 years' experience in tax accounting

• 2+ years of supervisory experience

• CPA preferred
