Tax Manager - Public

Description A well-respected Robert Half client is seeking a Tax Manager to join the company. The ideal Tax Manager will have proficiency in Excel and tax software and technology, as well as expertise in various types of tax returns and financial statements. How you will make an impact

• Support compliance and planning for tax matters like waivers and tax returns

• Supervise and review quarterly and annual payroll tax returns

• Communicate tax best business practices to accounting managers and staff accountants

• Review and supervise the preparation of quarterly tax projections, and communicate required estimated tax payments

• Prepare and examine complex income tax returns

• Support distribution and analysis of W-2s and 1099s

• Support quality control review for all financial statements

• Aid in the compliance of financial and tax reporting policies and procedures

• Produce and review tax correspondence and facilitation and oversight of tax audits Requirements - 2+ years of supervisory experience

• CPA preferred

• 5-7 years' experience in tax accounting

• Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required
