    Loan and lease syndications are key capabilities allowing a lender to manage the portfolio, cater to a broader audience and better serve customers, and therefore play an essential role in the commercial finance value generation. At the same time, the commercial finance environment is rapidly changing, driven by digitalization, workflow and deal flow automation, servitization (XaaS), and advanced sustainability frameworks.

    To support our efforts to drive new business and profitability in this exciting environment, we are seeking an energetic finance professional to join our team within our Commercial Finance Americas group as Syndications Manager (Buy/Sell) with focus on the sell-side.

    You will report to the Head of Sales Enablement & Syndications.

    WE ARE SEEKING A SYNDICATIONS MANAGER (BUY/SELL) IN MALVERN, PA:

    ON THE SELL SIDE

    • Execute sales of equipment finance loans and leases, predominantly in the mid-and, but also small ticket size range

    • Review sell-side transaction data, prepare Information Memorandums and document packages

    • Develop and apply originate-to-distribute syndication strategies (e.g., where maximum recommended exposures are reached) to drive revenue and meet profit targets

    • Finalize transaction documents and lead the closing process working with documentation/legal, operations/portfolio management and other relevant units

    • Conduct market sounding and advise on pricing to market, provide marketability opinion for credit approvals and regular updates on market and investor appetite

    • Further develop our sell-side loan and lease syndications strategy, processes, deal flow automation and documentation for the U.S. and Canada to enhance our distribution capabilities

    ON THE BUY SIDE

    • Identify and review new business opportunities, lead process of screening new deals

    • Submit deals in systems, deliver seamless transaction execution in cooperation with credit, documentation, and other departments with minimal oversight and ensure timely and accurate update of deals status in internal systems

    • Maintain a virtual barrier between Syndications and Originations to avoid conflicts of interest

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintain market and partner database, track activities in the CRM tool and support enhancing the internal reporting framework

    • Aid in the negotiation and administration of Non-Disclosure and Master Assignment and Servicing Agreements with the target to harmonize the standard across multiple partners

    • Develop and manage relationships with independent and bank-owned equipment finance entities, as well as other institutional asset managers

    • Increase the visibility of Siemens Financial Services - Commercial Finance syndications in the market and further develop our professional market appearance and adaption of digital solutions

    • Represent Syndications in cross-departmental projects

    YOU WILL WIN US OVER BY HAVING THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analysis, International Business, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or relevant related field

    • 8 years+ of professional experience in equipment finance in the North American market with at least 5 years in mid-ticket equipment finance syndications

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Team player and have excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills and an existing network of syndication contacts, paired with the desire to develop new partnerships

    • Possess a strong commercial finance background which allows you to quickly assess credit profiles and gives you good command over financial contracts, structures, pricing, discounting/ time value of money, and financial statements

    • Possess a high level of proficiency in MS Office Products and an established CRM system

    • In-depth-knowledge of the equipment finance syndication market with a focus on mid-ticket, but also small ticket, and the following verticals: Healthcare, Transportation (over-the-road), Machine Tools, Construction, Material Handling, Food and Beverage, Smart Building Infrastructure, and Digital Industries. Public finance experience is a strong plus.

    • Eager to continuously increase your knowledge in relevant fields, work independently and possess a get-things-done mentality.

    • Willing to occasionally travel (e.g., partnership development, leasing association and funding conferences).

    • The pay range for this position is $125,100-$214,600 and the annual incentive target is 40% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
