Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services ' company, is looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) Advanced Research Projects Agency For Health (ARPA-H) Strategic Technical Arpa-H Talent Support (STATS) Health Science Futures (HSF) & Scalable Solutions Office (SSO).

Responsibilities

• Advise senior Government personnel in technical, managerial or scientific fields.

• Manage Research & Development programs from inception to closeout.

• Plan and coordinate work, make decisions and resolve problems in Research & Development.

Qualifications

• D. in Biophysics, Biology, Microbiology or Immunology, or related scientific field

• Seven (7) years of experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience in technical, managerial or scientific fields and have expert credentials or be recognized as an authority and have the mature judgment required to advise senior Government personnel.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are required.

• Experience with basic and applied research and prior experience as a senior Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Contractor is highly desirable.

• Experience managing Research &Development programs from inception to closeout is also highly desirable.

• Individual will have demonstrated ability to make decisions independently on R&D problems and methods, in resolving important questions, and planning and coordinating work.

• Individual will have demonstrated experience in the use of advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices in a scientific or technological discipline.
