Staff Accountant (Real Estate Development)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for real estate development projects, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing.

• Assist with month-end close activities, such as journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making for real estate projects.

• Prepare project-specific financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure financial goals are met for real estate development projects.

• Support audit processes and respond to auditor inquiries as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in real estate or construction industry.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
