    Robert Half has a great opportunity for a Staff Accountant looking for a career they can grow in our Full Time Consulting Program. As a Full Time Consultant, you will be assigned to various clients to provide services that are appropriate for your skills and experience. We intend for each assignment to give you the chance to add value to the client and give you the opportunity to learn something new. Each assignment will vary in duration, but typically range from 1 month to 1 year in length. The right candidate will be skilled in their work and motivated to build their career. This is a permanent job opportunity as a full time Robert Half employee.

    Typical assignments will include the following responsibilities:

    • Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll

    • Special projects and impromptu reporting, upon request

    • Maintain depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation

    • Survey and organize various financial data, reporting it in a useful and understandable manner

    • Perform the month end close and produce journal entries under minimal supervision

    • Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process, which includes monthly financial close workbook preparation

    • Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules

    • Intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation

    • In-depth experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations

    • Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

    • Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting

    • Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.

    • 3+ years of accounting experience.

    • Working knowledge of GAAP.

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Strong organizational and stress management skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.

    • Ability to train and manage staff.

    • Ability to work with little to no supervision.
