Job Description:

About the Role:

Turning data into actionable insights every day, the role is focused on analyzing sales to drive sales. The position will access and manipulate internal data, Circana data, and customer POS data to create reports to help optimize the business. Working with customer business managers and the team's commercial leadership tools and reports will be created and maintained. As a sales analyst interpreting the data and presenting it to your business partners will be critical to maximize business impact. Successful sales analysts will enjoy the fluidity created by following the business trends to isolate critical consumer insights. In addition to managing the day-to-day data reporting expected of the sales analyst, the role will also enable eCommerce through item setup and digital footprint through Item360.

• Business Management Analytical Support: Proven ability to translate business challenges, questions, and user needs into analysis design and translate data into insights and recommendations

Forecasting: Supports forecasts at the category level by assisting in the development of SKU-level forecasts each month based on expected baseline demand, seasonality, and promotional activity i.e. sales, GP, inventory.

• Category/Assortment Strategy Analytical Support: Provide weekly/monthly category-level and subcategory level updates to sales & leadership team, with focus on sales trends to provide recommendations on omni channel assortment strategy.

• Data and Digital Acumen: Create data integration requirements to craft standard and custom interface specifications for data coming in from customers or third parties and resulting in standard sales action reports or as inputs to other analytical systems.

• Omni Channel Customer Focus: Support the implementation of sales analytics tools and establish understanding of new metrics, context and action to drive omnichannel share & sales growth opportunities.

Important Details : The position is full time and will located in Bentonville, AR. We are in a hybrid schedule-Tuesday-Thursday in office, Monday & Friday remote.

About You:

You'll fit right in if you have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field

• 2-3 years of progressive, relevant business experience.

• Experience with Data Analytics, Statistical programming languages

• Proven ability to translate business challenges, questions, and user needs into analysis design and translate data into insights and recommendations

• Display competence in automating processes and creating efficiencies in reporting, business planning & execution.

• Demonstrated aptitude for creatively solving problems in a fast paced and high intensity environment.

• Experience extracting data from retail POS systems Retail Link, IRi, Atlas experience a plus.

• Experience presenting information to and soliciting feedback from small and medium-sized groups
