    The Auto Club Group (ACG) provides membership, travel, insurance and financial services offerings to approximately 10million members and customers across 14 states and 2 U.S. territories through the AAA, Meemic and Fremont brands. ACG belongs to the national AAA federation and is the second largest AAA club in North America.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    Provide ACG with strategic Human Resource ("HR") information derived from analysis of internal and external data sources and support ongoing operations with advanced analytics that enable strategic planning, decision making, and execution. This role is responsible for the internal HR data management, accuracy and completeness of HR system records, as well as the development, application and interpretation of advanced analytics methodologies and statistical analysis processes designed to drive critical people metrics. This position will also support HR operations in projects related to process improvement.

    Support ACG-HR Optimization strategy through use of business intelligence tools such as Oracle BI (OBI) PeopleSoft and Cornerstone. Improve HR knowledge of HR-COE and HR Business Partner activity and performance through development of models, testing/validation, creation of reports and dashboards, and OBI, PeopleSoft and Cornerstone administrative functions. Leverage techniques from the areas of data sciences, advanced analytics and statistical models to improve HR critical metrics.

    Collaborate and share best practices with HR Partners for efficient processing of data, and proper analytical approaches for various business problems. Design and execute on people analytics projects. Efficiently queries, structures and analyzes HR data sets. Implement the results of the analysis and monitor results for effectiveness/ improvements. Collaborate with COE Leadership, HR Business Partners and Business Line leadership to identify and evaluate opportunities to utilize modeling and HR analytics to drive better business decisions. ROI analysis including scenario analysis, project test design/measurement/reporting and attribution analysis.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with one of Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView

    • Experience with various data management tools/software, including: i.e. SPSS, PeopleSoft, Ultipro, Visier, Workday

    • Experience with applying descriptive and predictive modeling and methodologies to drive solutions

    Work in a temperature-controlled office environment. Works in a temperature controlled office environment. Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned regions and work irregular hours when necessary.


    Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)

    Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):

    Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or other technical or analytical field.


    Professional work experience in advanced analytics, business analytics and/or data science working

    with large data sets, and building statistical modeling:

    • Using tools for statistical analysis programming (e.g., SPSS, SAS, SQL ) and database querying (e.g., SQL or Microsoft Access) in support of Advanced Analytics

    • Utilizing statistical techniques that are commonly employed with very large data sets, including linear/ logistic regression, decision trees and cluster analysis

    • Utilizing desktop computing skills, including use of one or more word-processing, spreadsheet (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and presentation graphics (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint, Prezi) software programs.

    • Exploratory data analysis

    Knowledge of:

    • Foundation HR data, systems, and processes

    • HR competencies with practical application

    • Project planning and management techniques

    Ability to:

    • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail

    • Prepare clear, concise and complete analysis, proposals, reports and other written materials

    • Set priorities and to respond to changing demands from multiple sources

    • Work effectively in an environment where compliance with processes and procedures is a priority

    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

    • Multi-task, work under pressure and adapt to change

    • Analyze administrative and technical issues and make appropriate recommendations for action
