Title: Senior Financial Analyst (Direct Hire)

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst in the manufacturing industry. This is a direct hire role in Minneapolis, MN, where you will be providing crucial financial support to the operations team and contributing to complex financial planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational teams to curtail manufacturing and supply chain costs. - Guide accurate financial planning processes and rolling forecasts. - Develop and analyze key financial performance indicators. - Advocate compliance with global and local accounting standards. - Lead standard cost setting processes and cost variance identification. - Spearhead quarterly financial forecasts ensuring control over financial processes. - Oversee planning and management of expenses linked to operations, capital investments, warehousing, and logistics. - Handle all accounting functions, including financial close processes, general ledger accounting, reporting, analysis, and audit. - Support the Operations team with invaluable financial insights. - Respond to ad hoc special requests or projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA or CPA highly preferred. - Five or more years of experience in financial analysis, ideally in the manufacturing industry. - Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost setting. - Strong MS Office Suite and accounting software skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and international accounting standards. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when required.

Requirements

• 4 year degree in Accounting or finance

• 3+ years of experience, 5+ better

• Cost Accounting experience in an industrial manufacturing setting

• CPA a plus

• Would consider someone coming right out of Public Accounting
