    The Corporate Support team at SCI exists to provide analytical support for all IT Financial activities. We provide financial support to help IT Management make strategic financial decisions that impact the company's bottom line. There is a high degree of visibility in this department. The IT Senior Financial Analyst expands and promotes financial awareness within the IT organization to assist budget owners on tracking financial implications as it relates to costs control within their respective departments. This role is a crucial part of this department, taking on the core analytical and reporting work on assigned topics and serving as a liaison between IT overhead departments and Financial Reporting.

    Strategic Analysis & Financial Support

    • Prepare and maintain scheduled ad-hoc reports

    • Prepare monthly exception reports for variances

    • Prepare and Analyze MTD, QTD, and YTD budget to actual variance for all 22 IT departments

    • Prepare Income Statement write ups to describe budget to actual variance for financial packages

    • Consolidate annual budgets and prepare financial presentation packages for IT Management

    • Track monthly, quarterly and annual Cap Ex budgets and spend by IT project

    • Assist with budget inputs in Anaplan, our cloud based budgeting tool

    • SCI uses Anaplan, a cloud based business planning software. This position will require extensive usage for analysis and reporting

    • Create ad-hoc analysis and reporting upon request

    • Evaluate and perform continual process improvements

    • Prepare and maintain desktop procedures

    • Assure that expenditure coding remains accurate and uniform across all instances

    • Promote a collaborative partnership between the finance and IT departments

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field

    Experience:

    • Three (3) years of advanced financial analytics and modeling experience is preferred

    • Proficiency in financial analysis techniques

    • Strong accounting and business acumen with the ability to interpret financial data

    • Proficiency in Capital Expenditures

    • Working knowledge of relational databases, Power Pivot and Power Query are preferred

    • Advanced proficiency in Excel is preferred

    • Experience working with Oracle or other accounting ERP is preferred

    • Experience with system management, Anaplan, preferred

    Work Environment

    • We are currently in the office 60% and remote 40% - Hybrid

    • Work indoors
