Sr. Cost Controller

Description

We have partnered with a rapidly growing startup company in the Chemical space to hire a new Sr. Cost Controller.

Job Overview

As the Sr. Cost Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost accounting and inventory management. You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with various departments to ensure efficient operations and accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Create Reports

Calculate all Standard Costing activities

Post month-end journal entries related to inventory

Track all inventory transactions and movements

Inventory Reconciliations

Audit support

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, inventory management, or related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, is preferred.

Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
