As a Procurement Consultant, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing procurement processes and identifying areas of improvement

• Streamlining accounts payable processes and making recommendations

• Strong understanding of PO's, invoice processing, purchasing, and accounting for AP in an inventory/manufacturing environment

Requirements

• Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

• Oracle experience

• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Strong analytical capabilities and discernment

• Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers

• SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience

• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

• Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

• Experience with ERP systems

• Outstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports

• BA/BS in Accounting

• Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

• Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines

• Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
