Sr. Accountant

Description

A healthcare services firm based in Newark, NJ is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their staff on a contract to full-time basis. The Senior Accountant will be heavily focused on the revenue side of the business, and should be proficient with processing claims in an effort to maximize revenue - something which includes the reconciliation of all invoices sent to vendors, analyzing aging reports, and posting all relevant journal entries. Demonstrated experience with reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, processing and analyzing cash receipts and daily cash positions, and supporting grant accounting efforts is preferred. Prior experience working in the non-profit sector or healthcare industries is strongly preferred.
