    We are in search of a Senior Accountant to join our team in Horsham, Pennsylvania area. The role involves overseeing compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes, and managing job costing activities. The successful candidate will also be involved in standard costing procedures, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies

    • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and analysis

    • Manage job costing activities, including tracking work-in-progress (WIP) and percentage completion (% completion) for projects

    • Implement and maintain standard costing procedures to accurately assess product/service costs

    • Collaborate with pricing teams to set profitability targets and track inventory costs

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and other ad-hoc financial reports

    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems

    • Provide support during audits and assist in addressing audit findings

    • Use skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Cost Accounting, and Manufacturing Cost Accounting

    Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accountant or in a related role

    • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

    • Experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    • Experience with Month End Close procedures

    • Knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP systems

    • Understanding of Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Cost Accounting

    • Experience with AIA Billing

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) credentials are preferred but not required.
