Sr. Accountant

Description

Robert Half has partnered with a retail business in Lakewood in search of a Sr. Accountant! The Sr. Accountant position is offering a hybrid work schedule and is paying $80,000-$90,000 + bonus!

The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Prepare recurring and non-recurring general ledger journal entries.

• General ledger account reconciliations.

• Highly detail-oriented and organized.

• Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines.

• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different employees within the organization.

• Timely completion of regulatory, tax, and sales/use tax filings

• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with documented policies and procedures

• Assist in reviewing existing controls, documenting procedures, and identifying areas for improvement

• Prepare minutes/notes for all accounting meetings

• Assist with other projects as needed

Requirements for the Sr. Accountant include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

• 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience

• QuickBooks or Business Central experience is nice to have, but not required

• Retail or franchise accounting experience is nice to have, but not required
