Sr. Accountant

Description

Robert Half has teamed up with a successful organization on their search for a Senior Accountant who can assist with the financial operations of the company. This Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial reports, preparing financial statements, assisting the month end close process, analyzing financial data, preparing budget analysis, processing client billings, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The successful candidate for this role will have excellent leadership abilities, sharp analytical skills, command of the month end process, excellent time management experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Major Responsibilities

• Implement revenue generating control systems

• Process accounts payable/receivable transactions

• Assist with bank deposits

• Maintain internal controls

• Prepare audit documentation

• Oversee the month end close process

• Perform ad hoc analysis

• Account Reconciliation

• Prepare financial reports

• Ensure compliance with GAAP

Requirements

The ideal Senior Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Business.

Other requirements for the Senior Accountant role include and are not limited to

• CPA preferred

• 4+ years of public and/or corporate finance experience

• Financial Reporting experience

• JDE, SQL and Access experience preferred
