SOX Auditor II

Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and lead walkthroughs and determine risks to the assigned processes.

• Identify, document, and assess key controls across Finance and the Business Segments, as well as work with the Segments to institute proper controls and remediation strategies.

• Perform attribute and transaction testing.

• Communicate control deficiencies/findings in a clear, concise manner, provide recommendations to management, determine root causes, obtain management's action plan for remediation in a timely manner and track findings through resolution.

• Develop and manage working relationships with key stakeholders, including Segment Risk Officers and Business Process owners.

• Assist in the development and rollout of scoping methodology, testing strategy, and integrated SOX and operational risk framework.

• Assist with development of reporting to working groups and other internal and external parties.

• Assist with ITGCs and Data Analytics as part of controls testing.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

• 3+ years of related experience

• Experience in risk and control environment (SOX/Operational Risk/Internal Audit), including control design and testing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven understanding of testing methodologies and processes

• Proficiency with data management, End User Computing Tools (spreadsheets and databases) and other standard computing applications (PowerPoint and Word)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with key stakeholders and Management

• Ability to work effectively on multiple projects under tight deadlines

• Data analysis skills
