  • Job Overview

    We are seeking a skilled Commodity Manager to oversee the procurement and sourcing of electric materials within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of commodities.

    Duties

    • Develop and implement commodity strategies to optimize cost savings and supply chain efficiency

    • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and terms that align with company objectives

    • Monitor market trends and conduct supplier evaluations to maintain a competitive advantage

    • Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production demands

    • Utilize root cause analysis to address supply chain disruptions and implement corrective actions

    • Oversee quality management processes to ensure compliance with industry standards

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field

    • Proven experience in commodity management, supplier management, and contract negotiation

    • Strong knowledge of materials management systems and supply chain best practices

    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to drive data-driven decision-making

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build strong supplier relationships

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience in supply chain management and procurement

    • Proficiency in contract negotiation and quality management practices
