    We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Training Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive training programs for our unique and expanding partnership with the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation). As a Senior Training Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to bring innovative ideas and expertise to enhance FBI training initiatives, ensuring the user community remains highly skilled and adaptable in a dynamic environment.

    Key Responsibilities include developing and executing strategic training plans, designing and delivering training programs, conducting training needs assessments, and collaborating with stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves staying updated with industry trends, managing training logistics, monitoring and evaluating training impact, advising leadership on training strategy, and completing extensive documentation tasks accurately and efficiently through an Atlassian Confluence knowledge base site.

    Responsibilities:

    • Bring new ideas and innovation to the training team and Bureau.

    • Ensures completion and timely submission of required tasks and deliverables as outlined by the customer and the Quality Assurance Plan and Statement of Work.

    • Assist with special projects and assume responsibility for the development, administration, and promotion of specific projects, as required.

    • Responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing, and delivering curriculum and learning materials and for managing all phases of the training process.

    • Provide training or assisting in facilitating yet-to-be determined program office skills training associated with needs assessments.

    • Work closely with essential stakeholders and subject matter experts to create training and troubleshooting documentation for upcoming systems before their release, ensuring proactive support during the system's lifecycle.

    • Collaborates with the Project Manager to address customer requirements, raised concerns, and team processes.

    • Ensure all new hires are provided with sufficient training to conduct daily duties.

    • Identify training areas and provide training required to refine and improve Help Desk system knowledge.

    • Coordinate and plan training programs for Help Desk Technicians and the FBI user community.

    • Provide critique and assistance for presentation delivery.

    • Create, update, and enforce scripts for presentations and training videos.

    • Create documentation to assist Help Desk Technicians perform their daily duties.

    • Update and upload Step-by-Steps and other required documentation to an Atlassian Confluence community site.

    • Ensure all submitted documentation is properly formatted and 508 compliant.

    • Create Confluence articles and keep documents updated.

    • Ensure communication is shared between system owners and Help Desk Technicians.

    • Submits status for the weekly and monthly status reports and provides input for the quarterly project management review.

    You Will Bring These Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work experience.

    • Strong project and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

    • Expertise in technical writing and documentation.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to coach and develop others to achieve their full potential.

    • Top Secret Clearance.

    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a corporate or organizational setting.

    • 2 years of experience with Atlassian Confluence/JSM

    • Expertise in instructional design, adult learning theory, and curriculum development.

    $78,700 - $165,300
