    Greendale is one of this companies gummy technology development and manufacturing facilities in North America. The site manufactures organic and vegan-based nutraceuticals via confection to enhance wellness for all consumers. Simply put - they make healthy gummies. Within their network, they offer a broad range of integrated formulation and analytical services to solve difficult development and manufacturing challenges.

    Essential Duties

    • Ensures accuracy of accounting records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), company policies and procedures.

    • Responsible for the general accounting function including recording accruals, review and record prepaids and amortization, recording journal entries, complete account reconciliations preparation.

    • Track, compile, and record ASC606 Revenue Recognition monthly reconciliation.

    • Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and accounts.

    • Understand ASC842 (lease accounting) to ensure compliance to the standard for lease accounting.

    • Assist in monthly and quarterly financial corporate packages.

    • Assist in month end reporting and ad hoc analysis.

    • Provides support for internal and external audit process and other accounting projects.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Position Requirements

    • Education Required: Bachelors in Accounting

    • Experience Required: 3-5 years of experience

    • Details on required experience: responsible for ad-hoc requests, day-to-day responsibilities, work closely with and help train the staff acct, help recommend changes to existing processes, building reports to monitor production for manufacturing locations, etc.

    • Details on functional knowledge:

    • Details on Specialized or Technical knowledge: JD Edwards preferred

    • Company/Industry related knowledge: none

    • Other qualifications or skills such as -

    • Ability to work with others in a team environment; demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.

    • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop collaborative approaches.

    • Demonstrates ability to identify and recommend process improvements.

    • Demonstrates the ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

    • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to present positions to both accounting and non-accounting associates.

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and / or as part of a team.

    • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail, problem solving and follow through.

    Travel Requirements: As needed to meet service-level requirements and for required business meetings

    Salary range $47/hr W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
