    The Position

    The Organon Global Procurement & Supplier Management (GPSM) Organization partners with the business to develop and execute direct and indirect sourcing strategies, enabled by agile business processes and strong supplier performance management, to drive improved business outcomes. The Senior Specialist, Corporate Services Procurement, reporting to the Head of Global Indirect Procurement will work closely with the HR Services and Professional Services Leads to execute against the strategies developed for these two categories. This role will be responsible for executing all steps of the sourcing process, pricing negotiations, supplier onboarding and evaluation/recommendation for awards. This role will be part of cross-functional teams of GPSM Leads, Stakeholders and Business Partners through Sourcing Management as a structured process to develop and deliver procurement strategies that create real value for the organization. This role will also work with Organon's procurement process excellence team and/or the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Provider to achieve its objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Category Leads, especially for HR categories (Benefits, Learning and Development, Relocation, Talent Acquisition, Rewards & Recognition) and Professional Services (Temp Labor, Consulting, Financial Services, Business Process Outsourcing, Translations) to gather business requirements from stakeholders to source a good or service from a third-party vendor.

    • Work closely with the Contract Leads to ensure that agreed upon terms and conditions are accurately reflected from proposal and award through contracting.

    • Interface with both Coupa Contract Life Cycle Management (CLM) and Coupa Sourcing Optimization (CSO) depending on the opportunity.

    • Create a sourcing pipeline of future events to enable forecasting.

    • Lead cross-functional teams through the sourcing process including individuals outside of the procurement organization.

    • Drive governance and consistency in sourcing to ensure a standardized approach.

    • Collaborate to constantly refine sourcing templates for RFI, RFQ, and RFP.

    • Negotiate pricing for quotes in context of the purchase and the larger partnership with the third-party vendor.

    • Use market intelligence to understand industry benchmarks, best practices, market dynamics, etc.

    • Collaborate on evaluation criteria and lead a core team through the scoring process.

    • Submit and validate third party due diligence requests as inputs to infer awards through the sourcing process.

    • Align with local and global finance representatives to ensure consistency in reported spend v savings and actuals with third-party vendors.

    • Use a savings management system as a system of record.

    • Ensure sourcing process is fair, ethical, and provides equal opportunity to all participants.

    • Lead meetings and set project timelines, help outline deliverables, create new impactful programs, deliver content, as needed.

    • Manage sourcing strategies that evolve according to industry trends.

    • Create standard and ad hoc reports using out of the box Coupa reporting, as needed.

    Required Education, Experience and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, procurement, or an equivalent degree in a relevant field.

    • Three plus years demonstrated experience sourcing corporate services.

    • Three plus years leading pricing negotiations.

    • Experience managing complex RFx and understanding, which sourcing strategy to use in what scenario given the business requirements.

    • Must be an excellent communicator to work with both third-party vendors and internal cross functional Organon stakeholders.

    • Three plus years technical experience using an electronic sourcing management tool like Coupa.

    • Analytical minded with an ability to analyze complex information and data sets.

    • Highly capable project management to understand interdependencies between sourcing events, meet timelines, and handle multiple RFx at the same time.

    • A bias for action and decision making with an ability to influence without authority.

    • Strong technical writing skills to be able to translate stakeholder business needs into a comprehensive list of requirements.

    • General business acumen with an understanding of tracking savings.

    • High levels of accountability and ownership to see an RFx through to completion.

    • Strategic thinker who can use knowledge of the market to drive sourcing recommendations.

    • Thorough understanding of the third-party supplier environment, strategic partnership opportunities, and an existing network of relationships.

    • Ability to quickly build strong relationships.

    • Experience with presenting information to maintain a high level of engagement with the audience.

    • Hands on knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Teams.

    Preferred Education

    • Master's degree in business administration, supply chain, procurement, or an equivalent degree in a relevant field.
