    This Opportunity

    WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full Time Senior Project Controller for our Lakewood, CO office. Be involved in projects with our Project Delivery Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

    Your Impact

    • Responsible for supporting major mining programs and projects.

    • Assist project teams with data entry of project cost information such as invoices, trends, reclasses, and all project documents into Oracle.

    • Assist and collaborate on building, populating and updating cost reports and/or dashboards in Oracle as required for multiple projects in the program portfolio.

    • Provide regular communication on project cost, schedule and risk status to project team members and stakeholders.

    • Ensure the projects within the program are following cost and schedule reporting guidelines.

    • Assist Project Cost Analyst with developing, reporting, and managing cost data for project benchmarking.

    • Assist Project Cost Analyst with gathering & maintaining FP&A accrual reports as necessary.

    • Perform final project cost closeout activities and assist PMs with closing out open commitments and purchase orders in order to establish the final total cost of projects.

    • Involved in monitoring and collaborating with the PM on the trend tracking system to ensure that project manager is fully aware of detailed change order status.

    • Identify schedule activities that control the overall project and critical path.

    • Assess and provide recommendations to resolve schedule, scope changes or delays to the Project Team and Executive Management.

    Who You Are

    Required Qualifications

    • 5+ minimum years of industry-relevant experience

    • Experience in Microsoft Excel - Intermediate; must be comfortable with producing spreadsheets, using accounting data formulas, pivot tables and charts.

    • Extensive experience with Oracle project accounting software.

    • Strong work ethic and self-starter

    • Eagerness to learn

    • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

    • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

    Compensation

    Expected Salary (Colorado only): $91,800-$130,000

    WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
