Our client specializes in launching and managing hedge funds. They focus on value stocks in global equity markets and offer services to private funds.

Senior Fund Accountant

San Francisco; Hybrid (very flexible)

Base + Bonus + Outstanding Benefits

Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of accounting team, supporting financial reporting and functions.

• Interact with middle office, compliance, investor relations.

• Liaise with external parties: fund administrators, auditors.

• Reconcile PNL between in-house and fund administrator.

• Assist with audit, tax, financial statement prep.

• Coordinate with external service providers.

• Prepare internal profit and loss reports.

• Conduct monthly NAV closing, review reconciliation schedules.

• Calculate tax estimates

• Compile and file regulatory forms

• Assist investor relations.

Requirements

Qualifications

• 4+ years accounting experience, familiar with options, futures, swaps, and derivatives, preferably in fund admin with hedge funds.

• Experience from public accounting with hedge funds, is acceptable

• CPA preferred.

• Ability to work early hours starting at 7am or 8am
