Penske is seeking an ambitious and inquisitive Senior Financial Analyst to join our Controllership team. Penske is a leader in the transportation industry. We help move lives and businesses forward. The Controllership team is
looking for an individual to provide "best in class" support through their expertise and fresh thinking. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with the organization's management to ensure accurate record-keeping. They will
provide support during monthly closing including journal entry preparation and analysis, as well as participate in special projects.
This position is located at our Corporate offices in a beautiful country setting 7 miles South of Reading, PA which is a convenient commute with ample free and easy parking.

â€¢ Participate in the preparation of certain monthly journal entries ensuring amounts are accurately recorded and adequately supported
â€¢ Participate in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including the Partnership's income statement
â€¢ Prepare various types of analytics, including financial statement analytics
â€¢ Ability to query and analyze financial data in order to provide detailed variance explanations
â€¢ Develop automated solutions to perform analytics.
â€¢ Participate in Corporate special projects
â€¢ Develop and drive process improvements
â€¢ Establish rapport and build cooperative working relationships with relevant internal and external parties
â€¢ Other tasks as assigned by Manager
â€¢ At least 3 years financial analytics experience requiredâ€¢
â€¢ Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
â€¢ MBA, CPA or CMA preferred
â€¢ Experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
â€¢ Strong analytical skills required
â€¢ Independent problem solving skills required
â€¢ Strong team player and self-driven individual
â€¢ Ability to multi-task and meet reporting deadlines
â€¢ Strong communication and organizational skills required
â€¢ Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and Access preferred
â€¢ Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint required
â€¢ Experience with AS400 and/or OneStream XF preferred
â€¢ Process mapping experience preferred
â€¢ Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
â€¢ Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and
