Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. (HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Senior Consolidation Analyst based at our Cleveland, Ohio location.

What you will do

• Ensure timely completion of the comprehensive global consolidation, including integrating the company's application consolidation.

• Collaborate with divisions to manage intricate intercompany balancing.

• Provide necessary report details, analysis, and explanations to support the external reporting function.

• Monitor and regulate the company's application system and closure process.

• Provide training and promote wider adoption of the company's application system across the organization.

• Supervise the accounting for the corporate plane and associated tax reporting.

• Maintain reporting and models for more intricate accounting areas.

• Assist internal and external audits by promptly providing or reviewing requested schedules.

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all assigned accounting projects.

What you will need

• Bachelor's degree in accounting. CPA highly preferred

• 7-10 years related experience, with preferably 2 years in auditing

Skills, Experience & Abilities

• Knowledge of US GAAP, ability to research accounting topics and apply this knowledge to Company transactions.

• Understanding of consolidation principles and foreign currency accounting rules.

• Knowledge of internal controls to support Sarbanes Oxley adherence and testing.

• Knowledge of finance systems and ability to easily work with them from a user and maintenance standpoint.

• Skilled user of Microsoft Excel and ability to adapt to new computer systems.
