Job SummarySenior Compensation/Financial professional supporting the compensation manager in all aspects of compensation including senior level analytical, technical, design and other support development and review of compensation programs, practices, and procedures. + Assists in leading and managing the compensation team. Helps build and maintain an effective team. Promotes employee engagement and delegates portions of activities, responsibilities, and authorities and accountability are defined and understood. Ensures the compensation team is properly trained and coordinates and implements training as required. + Participates in all aspects of Executive compensation including benchmarking: internal equity job leveling analysis; titling; design, development and implementation of short and long-term incentives; and coordinates and implements training as required. + Performs special statistical studies, analysis and reports relating to job classifications, variable pay, internal equity and merit increase programs. + Maintains, analyzes, and prepares modeling on financial data on company compensation programs. + Assists with the company's annual compensation planning process and works withing the Talent Management Systems (TMS). + Prepares new position descriptions and assists in revising existing position descriptions to reflect changes in job duties and recommends job reclassifications as needed. + Assists in annual benchmark study for all jobs against market data to determine company competitiveness and basis for internal job pricing. + Performs regular "Over and Under Analysis" to ensure salary levels are maintained within the established salary structure. + Participates and completes salary surveys. + Conducts job pricing and job evaluations on existing jobs with incumbents and assists in identifying specific compensation issues, i.e./, misclassification, salary compression issues, red circle issues, etc. + Reviews and proposed job descriptions and conducts job analyst to ensure salary wage levels are comparable with market pay and coordinates the approval process of proposed jobs. + Provides data and assists on internal and external compensation audits. + Actively supports the Amentum culture of safety, integrity, people, innovation and success. + Ensures all actives are carried out in compliance with internal policies and practices and laws and regulations.+ Perform other position related duties as assigned.
