The Naval Sea Systems Command and affiliated Program Executive Offices (PEOs) engineer, build, buy and maintain ships, submarines and combat systems that meet the Fleet's current and future operational requirements.
More About the Role:
Task lead for small team of financial analysts supporting program office.
Conduct analysis for short and long-range budget requirements.
Oversight of preparation and submission of financial execution documents/PRs to cognizant field activities.
Track documents/PRs through the financial execution process to completion and field activity acceptance.
Assist in researching and preparing responses to financial drills to NAVSEA Comptroller, Resource Sponsors, Financial Management and Budget (FMB) and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).
Maintain Spend Plans.
Compile, track and analyze financial performance metrics.
Facilitate financially related IPT and program reviews.
Prepare and review Budget Exhibits.
Prepare and review internal (Naval) and external (congressional) Reclamas.
Develop and review draft documentation to support and defend PPBE-related priorities.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
15+ years of relevant experience with the DoD, 10+ years' experience providing BFM support to Navy programs.
5+ years supervisory experience.
Must have an active DoD Secret level clearance.
Knowledge of PPBE process including PBIS.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Navy Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) experience.
Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM).
