    American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payments provider for businesses and corporations of all sizes. The Marketing Strategy & Insights team sits within the GCS Marketing organization, spearheading strategic initiatives and launching new products and refreshes for small, medium sized, and global businesses.

    The Sr. Analyst, Marketing Strategy & Insights is responsible for supporting 360-degree go-to-market launches and critical initiatives for top GCS priorities. This individual will help define and deliver end-to-end strategies aimed at meeting customer needs, while profitably growing revenue. The role requires an organized and meticulous person with a problem-solving attitude. It also requires the ability to build strong relationships across stakeholder teams, including Marketing, Product, Analytics, Finance, Risk, and GABM to generate strategic, data-driven insights and recommendations.

    This is a high-visibility role with the opportunity to work with teams across the American Express organization and shape how we go to market with our B2B brand, products, and services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Marketing Strategy: Work closely with your team to help develop marketing strategies aligned with GCS priorities.

    • Project Management: Own elements of critical initiatives including relationships with key internal partners or agencies, project timelines, dependencies, requirements, and information share outs.

    • Strategic Analysis: Analyze and assess marketing initiatives, identify areas of opportunity, and recommend a clear path forward based on insights.

    • Relationship Building: Collaborate closely with teams (including Marketing, Product, Analytics, Finance, Risk, and GABM) to understand and align marketing strategies, timelines, and tactics across American Express.

    • Problem-Solving: Support issue resolution and development of new solutions/working models to internal go-to-market processes and approaches.

    • Creative Ideation: Provide strategic feedback on various creative initiatives like marketing playbooks, visual identity development, and research concept creation.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 2 years of professional experience in marketing or function with transferrable skills

    • Analytical problem solver with ability to synthesize data/information into clear insights, strategies, and recommendations

    • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, operate autonomously, and prioritize effectively

    • Highly collaborative and comfortable in a cross-functional environment with many partners and able to influence internal and external partners

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

    • Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment

    • Positive energy, good sense of humor, and a passion for innovation and transformation.

    Qualifications

    Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
