Revenue Accountant

Are you looking for a new Oil and Gas Revenue Accounting role to start off the new year?!

Located in The Woodlands, our client is looking to add a Revenue Accountant with 2+ years of experience to join their Revenue Accounting group on a direct hire basis.

This role will be responsible for the following

• Prepare revenue allocations

• Gather and analyze all volume and pricing data necessary to record revenue for gas, oil and natural gas liquids

• Record revenue transactions for operated and non-operated

properties

• Record related revenue expenses - marketing, gathering,

transportation and processing deductions

• Process revenue related voids, monthly check writes and

revenue cutbacks

• Prepare coding for revenue-related invoices

• Coordinate the setup of division of interest decks with Land Department personnel

• Research and respond to owner inquiries

• Record and monitor prior period adjustments on a monthly basis

• Prepare revenue accruals. Accruals are a manual process and

not system generated.

• Analyze and prepare revenue-related balance sheet account

reconciliations

• Prepare and file regulatory reports relating to severance tax

and governmental royalty

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 2 years of Oil & Gas Revenue accounting experience, please contact Caroline McGlaun for consideration.
