    Job Title: Retail Real Estate Acquisitions Analyst

    Job Description

    The Retail Real Estate Acquisitions Analyst will support all aspects of the company's efforts in identifying and acquiring strategic commercial real estate properties. This individual will be key to the sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and closing of all commercial real estate investment opportunities. They must have in-depth knowledge of commercial real estate and possess superior leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.

    Responsibilities

    1. Support the Head of Acquisitions in all acquisition activities, investment processes and strategy, and manage internal and external stakeholders.

    2. Participate in the financial and qualitative analysis of potential acquisition properties.

    3. Support all stages of the acquisition process, from Letters of Intent (LOI), Purchase and Sale Agreement (PSA), due diligence, and closing.

    4. Work closely with internal teams for property management, development, architecture, and legal to ensure a seamless integration of acquired properties.

    5. Collaborate with the Finance team on debt structuring and investment underwriting.

    6. Provide regular reporting on acquisition progress and metrics to Head of Retail Acquisitions.

    7. Stay current with market trends and maintain knowledge of regional and national real estate markets.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.

    2. 2 plus years of experience in commercial real estate.

    3. Extensive knowledge of real estate financial modeling, due diligence, and negotiation.

    4. Strong connections within the commercial real estate community.

    5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    7. Ability to work independently and within a team, demonstrating a high level of initiative and creativity.

    8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and real estate software programs such as Yardi, Argus or similar.

    This is an executive position that requires a combination of strategic thinking, deep industry knowledge and hands-on execution.
