    Responsibilities

    The Financial Analyst supports the government in contract decisions by providing the financial analysis and support for decision making. The general responsibilities of the Financial Analyst include but not limited to:

    • Create cost-benefit analysis for contract transactions

    • Assist portfolio managers on evaluating financial lease terms

    • Provide market research support for contract actions

    • Assists in developing estimates using benchmark data and estimating tools

    • Assists in compiling total costs of transaction

    • Prepares and delivers accurate and timely ad-hoc reports

    • Researches and understands federal codes and regulations that govern contracting

    • Creates forecasting models and updates existing financial models

    Qualifications

    The Financial Analyst shall have the following qualifications:

    Required:

    • A current Top Secret clearance is contractually required

    • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or other related degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience

    • At least 3 years of Federal Government or Private Industry contract analysis and pro forma modeling experience along with market research and analysis experience

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills; strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues

    • Broad-based knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such a percentages, discounts, and commissions; ability to conduct advanced financial analysis

    • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office programs and Outlook
