Rapid Continuous Trainer

Eaton's IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Rapid Continuous Trainer.

The hours for this role are 07:00am - 4:00pm

The hourly rate for this position is $33.00 - $36.00 an hour per hour.

What you'll do:

Summary:

Undertakes tasks and activities directly contributing to the technical skill development of Eaton employees, the on-boarding of new hires, and coordination of learning. This role profile covers a large variety of specific jobs and skills that may be required to meet the vast learning requirements of the various departments at our Eaton MSD Orchard Park and Westminster facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Goal Achievement

• Demonstrate and teach technical skills in a classroom environment

• Create a video training library for complex jobs

• Reduce errors and scrap

• Reduce audit findings and corrective actions

• Strong customer service and communication skills for working with our internal customers:

• Facilitation of learning

• Prepare and organize course work for technical training

• Assess skill level accomplishment, provide feedback and deliver on learning needs

• Collaborate in a learning and development team environment

• Demonstrate Eaton ethics, quality, and safety culture

• Lead in a classroom environment

• Skill demonstration and facilitation

• Demonstrate knowledge of skill and guide learner in practice and application

• Facilitate technical learning in the classroom and on-the-job

• Prepare new hires to successfully perform their role

• Renew and refresh learning to increase and/or maintain performance level of existing employees

• Quality Audits

• Perform audits to assess the quality of new-hire performance on-the-job

• Provide feedback, coaching and follow up based on audit results

• Audio visual skill

• Operate video recording equipment to capture complex jobs

• Edit videos in Adobe Premier Pro software

• SharePoint Admin skills: maintain training video library on SharePoint site

Qualifications:

Required:

• A minimum 5 years' of Aerospace manufacturing experience that includes tasks such as soldering, welding, and pneumatics.

• High School diploma (or equivalent)

• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. To be eligible, you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred:

• Experience in all core MSD OP foundational skills such as soldering, welding, workmanship, torque, pneumatics, and explosives

• Share Point administration experience

• Experience facilitating learning in a classroom environment

• High degree of initiative and ownership, attention to detail, and the discipline to follow through on assigned tasks

• Ability to communicate well internally and externally at all levels in the organization

• Good organization skills with attention to detail

• Ability to teach and encourage learning in a classroom and production environment

• Aerospace industry Business Acumen (Technical experience)
