  • Our client, a distributor is seeking automatic equipment and accessories is looking for a Purchase Specialist to join their team. As a Purchasing Specialist, you will be part of the Purchasing Department reporting to the Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

    Job Title: Purchasing Specialist

    Location: Kansas City, MO

    Pay Range: $35,000 - $55,000

    What's the Job?

    • Manage purchase orders and records.

    • Oversee shipping schedules.

    • Build and maintain cordial working relationships with vendors and supervising vendor activities.

    • Work closely with various departments..

    • Manage sourcing.

    • Conduct on-going market research to identify beneficial purchase agreements.

    • Purchase cost and pricing review and negotiation.

    • Other duties assigned.

    What's Needed?

    • 3 years of Purchasing or Inventory Control required.

    • In-depth knowledge of Purchasing functions, inventory and supply management.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

    • Strong attention to details.

    • Solid data entry skills.
