    We are seeking a Principal Security AI Architect with a profound AI and Security background to prevent and disrupt these cyberattacks. This individual should have a comprehensive understanding of the broader threat landscape, advancements in AI, and the implications of detecting attacks in a large-scale, operational organization supporting millions of customers.

    Responsibilities

    We are looking for a Principal Security AI Architect who can supercharge our most important initiatives and has the versatility to take on a variety of projects. This could involve:

    • Assess new applications of generative AI

    • Prevent and disrupt cyberattacks by leveraging profound AI and Security background.

    • Understand the broader threat landscape and advancements in AI.

    • Detect attacks in a large-scale operational organization supporting millions of customers.

    • Propose redesign of detection stack

    • Collaborate with partner teams for integrating new customer experiences across product lines

    • Seek out problems create prototypes to validate ideas

    • Conceptualize new approaches to problems to problems and engage in hands-on development

    • Thrive on learning and collaborating with industry experts

    • Balance technical acumen with prototyping, tinkering, and exploration of possibilities through people, code, and data.

    Qualifications

    Required/Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling or data engineering work

    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ year(s) experience in business analytics, data science, software development, or data engineering work

    • OR equivalent experience.

    Other requirements:

    • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cybersecurity, and/or anomaly detection

    • OR Doctorate in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, AI or related field.

    • 6+ years prototyping and deploying innovative new tech that requires collaboration across multiple disciplines and teams (engineering, program management, research, data science).

    • 5+ years of practical experience in AI/ ML algorithm and its application to Security problems.

    • 2+ years of experience understanding of large-scale, distributed system architectures and the software development lifecycle.

    • Experience designing or implementing scalable data pipelines, threat intelligence feeds, machine learning or rule-based detection solutions, and/or cybersecurity researcher tooling and workflows.

    • Experience applying generative AI and machine learning in cybersecurity.

    • Experience working across multiple product teams to deliver combined innovations and feature

    Data Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
