    Job Description:

    Responsible for the ongoing development, maintenance, and implementation of the company's Strategic Risk Management framework. Provides tactical leadership to coordinate and execute the process for the annual Risk Appetite and KRI setting processes for Strategic Risk. Actively manages and escalates strategic risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. Supports preparation of materials for Strategic Risk Forum as well as research into industry practices, emerging risks, and competitive environment as appropriate.

    Responsibilities

    • Facilitates communication and builds effective working relationships with key business stakeholders and risk owners.

    • Coordinates the strategic risk assessment in conjunction with the development of the annual strategic plan.

    • Manages/Develops process documentation for the ERM Strategic Risk Framework

    • Coordinates the annual process for updates to key strategic risk artefacts, including the Strategic Risk Appetite, supporting Key Risk Indicators, and the strategic risk assessment.

    • Assists senior management on ad hoc analysis and reporting.

    • Coordinates the aggregation and dissemination of materials supporting the Strategic Risk Forum

    • Supports regulatory benchmarking studies, gap assessments, and competitive analysis to further enhance the Strategic Risk Framework

    Minimum Qualifications

    At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

    • 4+ years of experience in Risk Management, Financial Services, or related field

    • In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in Risk Management, Financial Services, or related field

    Preferred Qualifications

    If we had our say, we'd also look for:

    • 6+ years of experience in Risk Management, Financial Services, or related field

    • 2+ year in strategic risk or business strategy role

    Compensation:

    The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
