    Our team has an immediate need for a Prevailing Wage Administrator aligned to our Operations Management & Facilities Services (OMFS) projects & business across the U.S. You'll be responsible for a variety of administrative/clerical/labor compliance support tasks as well as ensuring the application of prevailing wage laws on specific projects, businesses, or technical units. You'll have the opportunity to assist on a number of different projects and may be located in the office (hybrid) or on an operating project site.

    In this role you'll:

    • Apply your understanding of prevailing wage laws to obtain and maintain compliance across applicable OMFS projects

    • Strategize and drive optimal implementation of prevailing wage laws into practice at all applicable OMFS project sites in a timely manner

    • Consult on prevailing wage project proposals prevailing wage rates for proposals/pursuits

    • Conduct and participate in project reviews

    • Coordinate and track all prevailing wage projects within OMFS Group

    • Participate in monthly PW Coordinator/Admin calls

    • Conduct prevailing wage project set up in Jacobs Payroll tools

    • Monitor and update employee fringe data in Jacobs Payroll tools (annually, new hires, new assignments)

    • May create or modify manual calculation spreadsheets as needed

    • Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Teams (assignment changes, status changes, pay changes, terms, etc)

    • Perform a variety of administrative/clerical tasks related to prevailing wages including but not limited to, gather, compile, track and report on information relevant to project assignments from multiple sources

    • Set up and maintain project files, refer callers, arrange meetings and conference calls, receive, refer and answer email and mail

    • Compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, presentations and data entry related to prevailing wage

    • Compile, review, and analyze data

    • Collaborate on design processes to enhance work flow

    • Establish files (electronic or hard copy) reflecting all appropriate documentation

    • Work with information of a confidential nature

    • Communicate and forward reports and documents to various State Labor Agencies

    • Ensure timely and accurate processing, recording, and reporting of company's certified payroll in various states including California, Washington and Illinois

    • Process and submit required documentation and training fund contributions

    • Work with specially designed software to complete certified payroll and other prevailing wage required documents

    • Conduct reviews of sub-contractor's Certified Payroll Registers and compliance documentation

    • Notify appropriate internal contacts when contractors are not in compliance

    • Strong Organizational and time management skill

    • Ability to work independently with minimal direction

    • Remain abreast of applicable labor and employment law including: prevailing wage, Davis-Bacon Act, any other applicable state and federal law.

    • Competent administrator comfortable operating computer systems and interacting with a diverse population including employees, and State agencies.

    The base salary range for this position is $53,500 to $93,700. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    Here's what you'll need :

    • Minimum five years' experience in business administration

    • Previous experience related to payroll administration, and/or accounting and finance experience in industry or consulting services.

    • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)

    • Knowledge of State Prevailing Wage laws and statutes (currently California, Illinois, Washington State), as well as Federal Davis-Bacon laws and statutes)

    • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

    • Valid driver's license with no major infractions

    Ideally, You'll Also Have:

    • B.A. or B.S. degree from a four-year accredited college or university with course work in, business, finance, and/or accounting

    • Training and/or certification in MS Excel

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

    • Exemplary organization and time management techniques
