Scope of Position:
In this role, you will partner with the Hire to Retire (HTR) Process Delivery Owner on automated time & attendance and payroll process effectiveness & efficiencies, which includes working to achieve and maintain process standardization. As the Senior Analyst, you will act as a liaison with Shared Services Operations and partner with the HR function on joint initiatives and ensure expectations are agreed upon and met. You will also provide project management support, partnering with Project Managers on payroll-related projects to ensure successful delivery of project objectives. Additionally, you will monitor industry best practices, standards, laws & trends, technology and incorporates into strategic planning.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
In-depth knowledge of end-to-end HR and HTR processes within the scope of Corning's global Shared Service (CSS) space
Collaborates with CSS Operations and appropriate Functional Groups to understand needs & trends and propose appropriate solutions
Support project prioritization needed to achieve targeted corporate and / or Ops objectives
Support GreenBook & BlackBook budgeting process for strategy / projects and assist Operations in budget development as it relates to targeted efficiency gains
Collaborates with Operations in establishing KPIs and complementary plans to achieve targets
Monitors Operation's KPIs and vendor SLA performance collaborating on process improvement plans as needed
Understands the policies & procedures that govern their areas of responsibility
Assists Operations in achieving & maintaining compliance with policies, procedures, standards and statutory laws; (including support to address / resolve audit findings)
Establishes and maintains relationships with SMEs (internal and external) who can provide guidance and expertise on supported systems' regulatory compliance status
Benchmarking: monitors industry's best practices, standards, laws & trends and incorporates these into strategic planning
Leads the effort to develop/write project charters; working collaboratively with key contributors to define critical aspects of the charter, including budget, deliverables, timelines, etc.
Plays an active role in Change Management & Communications
Partners with Business Process Engineering and Robotic Process Automation COE on process improvement efforts and global standardization within CSS
Provides the Customer Relationship Managers with the information needed to develop the required SLAs for additional services provided by our Centers and/or vendors to customers
Travel: You can estimate travel will be 20-25% international travel
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related degree
5+ years of payroll related experience including strategy, operations, and compliance in a Shared Service Center environment
Previous transformation or operational experience in HR and / or Hire to Retire end to end process
Experience working with multiple and complex groups and cross functional teams
Shared Services or other process-intensive experience
Financial acumen and analysis
Deep knowledge of functional processes for automated time & attendance and payroll
Global operations support
Excellent decision-making skills; including the ability to make timely decisions reflecting a good mixture of analysis, experience, discernment, & prudence
Communication and change management experience; particularly influencing skills
Problem solving: strong analytical skills and logical/methodical thinker
Global business knowledge
Vendor management experience; including contract terms and SLA performance measurement
Drive-for-results and seeing things through to completion

Deep knowledge of Kronos, SuccessFactors / SAP, ADP GlobalView & Streamline applications
Functional work experience (IT, HR, Finance)
Familiarity with Performance Excellence tools and theory
Strong project management knowledge/skills; particularly with global system deployment
International work experience, including experience managing change globally
M&A or process integration experience desired
Process Automation & Digitalization experience desired
HR Service Delivery (master data management, contact center, reporting & analytics) desired
