US Remote / Home office based role and requires approximately 50% travel
Role Description and Purpose
The Oracle Commerce Cloud ("OCC") Consulting Project Manager provides management and leadership focused on planning, staffing, and executing Oracle Commerce Cloud Consulting engagements. The Project Manager works in conjunction with Consulting Sales Representatives and Practice Managers, to develop, estimate, scope plan and staff new business engagements while effectively managing the execution of multiple active projects.
The Project Manager operates under minimal supervision and demonstrates proactive, results-oriented work habits with a track record of delivering high quality, profitable, on-time projects. In addition to exceptional project management and communications skills, this role requires deep subject matter expertise in eCommerce technology implementations and delivery of enterprise Cloud/SaaS projects and services. Knowledge of leading eCommerce and Order Management platforms is strongly desired, as is a track record of assisting with the development of new business. The ideal candidate will have a strong hand-on background in technology and consulting and will be able to provide consulting and expertise to clients in addition to fulfilling project management duties. The ability to communicate effectively with project team members and manage client stakeholder relationships are a must. The Project Manager will often advise customer or partner personnel on best practices and technical issues and is expected to be capable of delivering a tailored message to C-level customer or partner executives as required.

Contribute to the growth of the Oracle Commerce Deployment competency center through the creation and sharing of knowledge on project experience
Create and/or provide final review of high-quality project deliverables, including Search Tuning or Audit documents
Essential Skills, Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math or related field is preferred. A combination of 7 years of experience in relevant industry business practices, business consulting, and/or technical consulting is required; retail and telecommunications sectors are most desired. In addition, the following are critical skills required (or desired, where noted) to perform well in this position:
Experience leading professional service/consulting teams; experience as a Project Manager
Experience leading professional service/consulting teams internationally and remotely
Experience managing projects over $1M is required
Experience managing typical project stakeholder sizes between 20 and 40 individuals preferred
Proven track record delivering projects on time and on budget while achieving performance milestones and exceeding client expectations
Excellent problem-solving, research and analysis, technical, team building, and leadership skills
Experience utilizing waterfall and agile methodologies
Experience delivering with eCommerce and OMS platform implementations.
Experience with Cloud/SaaS solution delivery to enterprise customers
Ability to write and deliver technical documents to internal and external clients
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer-facing skills at all levels of a customer organization
Solid presentation skills, great at developing rapport with customers and partners
Ability to participate in Sales-pursuit meetings and provide technical commentary
Ability to adjust communication content to a wide range of audiences (e.g. technical developers to C-level executives)
Background / Experience in technical delivery will be beneficial
Understanding of e-commerce eco-systems, integrations, verticals and online business principles is desired;
Exposure and experience in B2B is preferred
Proficiency with project-based tools such as Word, Excel, Project, as well as others
PMP or CSM certification is a plus
