    Job Purpose/Overview:

    The Manager , Operations Analysis is responsible for analyzing Operations business processes, data, workflows, and metrics across Operations initiatives. This role will utilize various analytic tools to track, analyze, report, and propose innovative solutions across key Operational activities. The Operations Analyst collaborates with internal and external partners and is crucial in ensuring the successful optimization and implementation of Operations objectives.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Collect, organize, and analyze data related to Laboratory Operations (to include Transportation), including, but not limited to, workflow, resource utilization, performance and financial metrics.

    • Responsible for Operations Business Process Management, including selection of tools, standardization, SOPs.

    • Document current and future-state laboratory processes and identify gaps required to achieve business objectives.

    • Collaborate with lab staff to understand challenges and gather feedback on current and proposed processes.

    • Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to identify trends, outliers, and opportunities for improvement.

    • Collaborate with cross functional stake holders to identify needs and requirements across business units to achieve Operational goals.

    • Translate business requirements into clear and concise documentation.

    • Propose and champion innovative solutions and process improvements that align with business goals and objectives.

    • Develop, implement, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance of a given initiative.

    • Report established KPIs to relevant stakeholders including senior management.

    • Represent Antech professionally at all times.

    • Maintain detailed documentation of all project requirements.

    • May be asked to participate in enterprise initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Laboratory Sciences, or other relevant field.

    • Proven experience in process analysis and optimization (preferred within laboratory setting.)

    • Knowledge of laboratory management systems (LIMS) is a plus

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong analytical skills

    • Fluency in English required

    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms

    • Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies

    • Ability to clearly communicate project needs and activities to relevant stakeholders.

    • Excellent leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Travel

    Percent of time: Up to 20% of the time

    Working Conditions

    The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

    The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment including use of cubicles, computers and overhead lighting. Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, and the Internet. The associate may need to use a copy machine, fax machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.

    The Target Pay Range for this position is $98,000-$122,000 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
