    KBR has an opportunity for a NASA Milestone Review Coordinator (supporting NASA/JSC in Houston)The purpose/function of this position is to perform system integration for the Human Landing System (HLS) Program for future NASA lunar landing missions. System integration is performed as part of the System Engineering and Integration work performed for the Moon to Mars (M2M) Program (formerly ACD and CESD). Tasks include system integration, coordination and planning of milestone and baseline reviews for HLS Program for multiple commercial providers, milestone schedule analysis, coordination of formal adjudication for certification baseline reviews, and development of other system engineering products. The person will work at Johnson Space Center with a large team of System Engineering and Integration (SE&I) personnel across multiple NASA centers in a virtual environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and plan milestone and baseline reviews for HLS Program for multiple commercial providers, including dispositioning of comments to DRDs and Requests for Action (RFAs), and other review integration tasks.

    • Coordinate and plan adjudication for commercial provider application of standards, including necessary pre-planning, execution of reviews, board presentations and tracking of all products, comments and actions.

    • Develop process, approach and plans for conducting HLS milestone reviews, adjudication reviews, and hazard reviews.

    • Provide inputs to system engineering integration plans, team discussions and planning products to support HLS Program within M2M Program.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    A BS degree in engineering or equivalent degree with a minimum of 10 years applicable experience

    Experience in NASA milestone reviews

    Experience in system integration

    Experience in document development/management

    DESIRED

    Experience in developing NASA or NASA-related system engineering documentation

    Experience with M2M Program or associated programs and projects

    SKILLS/TRAINING REQUIRED:

    Self-motivated and proactive in integrating/communicating with others without a lot of hands-on direction. Ability to lead specific tasks when needed.

    Ability to work within a team environment, where the team is distributed across multiple NASA centers

    Ability to identify integration concerns and gaps in information and communicate concerns to leadership in a diplomatic and constructive manner

    Ability to perform cross-program integration with multiple people for various purposes in parallel

    Well-developed skills in both written and verbal communication

    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
