    The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Air Dominance (AD) Product Security Engineering (PSE) organization is seeking a Mid-Level Project Management Specialist to provide project leadership, financial support and support schedule baseline management activities associated with multiple contract & Internal Research and Development (IR&D) activities. This role spans multiple AD programs/products in support of cyber security and resiliency engineering for embedded systems through requirements, design, analysis, build, test, production, operations, support and sustainment in the AD PSE portfolio in Berkeley, MO .

    You are going to be part of Boeing's AD PSE Organization, which is a growing multi-disciplinary cybersecurity engineering organization, that is responsible for the cyber security and resiliency of our embedded systems within products, platforms, and services. This is your opportunity to help shape and influence Product Security Engineering within the AD portfolio.

    The AD PSE team's portfolio spans exciting programs such as F/A-18 Super Hornet/Growlers, F-15 Eagle, MQ-25 Stingray, T-7A Red Hawk, F-22 Raptor and multiple Phantom Works efforts. Primary responsibilities for this position span across the entire AD portfolio.

    Primary Responsibilities :

    • Provide project leadership in key development, production, agile processes and research areas

    • Assist Program Manager with Long Range Business Planning (LRBP)

    • Assist Program Manager with capital planning for technology roadmap maturation

    • Perform as liaison between engineering, finance and scheduling for IR&D activities

    • Represents DMC organization as prime point of contact for assigned projects

    • Communicate team performance with senior and executive leadership

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite for onboarding, then could lead to a more hybrid work environment

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience): (see required education and experience for this level below)

    • Bachelor's degree or higher

    • 1+ years of experience with contract management processes/tools & earned value management

    • 1+ years of experience managing projects or programs

    • 1+ years of experience working with MS Office Suite, such as Word, Excel and MS Project

    • 1+ year of experience preparing executive level briefings

    • 1+ year of experience in collecting data and performing trend analysis

    • 1+ year of experience in scheduling and cost management

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 3+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

    • Experience in applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis

    • Experience with RIO (Risk, Issues, and Opportunities) in project planning

    • Experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

    • Strong written, leadership and verbal communication skills

    • Project leadership experience

    • Knowledge of program management best practices

    Typical Education & Experience:

    Mid-Level (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

    Summary pay range for this experience level: $73,000 - $129,000
